Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Professional proficiency in English and All Spoken Languages.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during application.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience as required by client credentialing standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Languages during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and applicable client requirements.
• Interact professionally with clients, patients, and other participants.
• Maintain proficiency and knowledge of terminology for accepted assignments.
