Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience.
• Ability to travel to onsite assignments.
• Completion of language/interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background/security checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and data-protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge.
