Job summary

UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver: Englewood, CO is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging in compliance with scope and organizational standards. This is a full-time, onsite role with weekend day shifts and pay ranging from $40.40 to $56.56 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include reviewing history and orders, educating patients, preparing and administering contrast as needed, maintaining safety and quality, and reporting scan results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT with MRI registry or ARMRIT; registry completed within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders and educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition and responds to changes in status.
• Prepares equipment; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; performs safety checks and reports equipment malfunctions.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and reports image quality issues; repeats procedures as needed.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
