Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a part-time MRI technologist for the Cherry Creek MRI department in Denver. This onsite role requires weekend day shifts and involves scheduling, patient education, and high-quality MRI imaging.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, administering contrast as needed, and ensuring patient safety. ARRT MRI certification or registry eligibility with timely completion is required, along with BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and MR-imaging registry eligible with ARRT/ARMRIT completion within 12 months.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider with in-hand card before start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patients about procedures.
• Prepare/ administer contrast media and medications as appropriate; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensure safety and quality control.
• Position patient; perform imaging; analyze results; report any image quality issues.
• Operate with minimal supervision; work in a fast-paced environment and act decisively.
