Job summary

GE Healthcare is seeking a MR Calibration Engineer to calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and service MRI systems at customer sites. The role aims to ensure optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, and smooth onboarding of new products.

Responsibilities include leading calibration during installation, maintaining tools, communicating with account teams, and supporting service calls and preventive maintenance. Travel up to 50% and training junior staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of electronic equipment service experience.
• Strong customer interface skills.
• Proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead calibration activities during installation.
• Maintain and calibrate tools.
• Communicate status to account teams.
• Support service calls and preventative maintenance.
• Assist/train less experienced engineers.
