Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks an MR Calibration Engineer to lead calibration of MR systems and upgrades during installation, acting as SME to customers. You will calibrate, test, and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely completion of service activities.

Role requires onsite work at customer locations with up to 50% travel, including LA area and beyond. A technical degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or related field, orMilitary externship, or HS diploma with 4+ years servicing electronic equipment.
• Experience interfacing with customers and internal teams in a solution-based process.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead, troubleshoot and complete calibration of designated MR systems and NPI.
• Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring calibration.
• Communicate status to Account Community and manage service activities.
• Support service teams with calls, preventive maintenance and field modifications.
• Assist and/or train less experienced MR Field Engineers during calibration.
