Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Mining Construction Contract Manager to oversee and manage all contracts for a large mining EPCM project within our Earth & Environment team. This full-time onsite role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada, with preference for Nevada, Utah, or nearby major mining sites.

Travel per diem is available for non-locals. The position covers post-award contract activities from kick-off to closeout for onsite construction, services, and equipment vendors, ensuring

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement and contract management experience in large-scale heavy civil construction, process facilities, and/or mining infrastructure.
• Hands-on contract administration, documentation, and onsite communication on a large project with multiple vendors.
• Knowledge of contract terms, negotiations, and industry standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and administer contracts to ensure compliance with terms in collaboration with client and WSP teams.
• Support preparation, negotiation, and execution of field work instructions, amendments and contract change orders.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, notices, and deadlines.
• Identify contractual risks and work with project teams to mitigate them.
• Manage contract correspondence, records, claims, variations, and supporting documentation.
• Provide guidance on contractual rights, responsibilities, processes, and escalation requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering and internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Assist with commercial reporting, cost impacts, payment provisions, and performance tracking.
