Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Mining Construction Contract Manager to oversee and manage all contracts for a large mining EPCM project within our Earth & Environment team. This full-time onsite position can be located anywhere in the United States or Canada, with preference in Nevada, Utah, or near major mining projects.

Travel per diem is available for those not local to the projects. Responsibilities include reviewing, interpreting, and administering contracts, negotiating changes, monitoring

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of procurement and contract management experience in large-scale heavy civil construction or mining infrastructure.
  • Hands-on contract administration, documentation, and communication while onsite on major projects.
  • Knowledge of contract terms, conditions, negotiations, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Review, interpret, and administer contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions with client and internal teams.
  • Support preparation, negotiation, and execution of field work instructions, amendments, and change orders.
  • Monitor obligations, deliverables, milestones, notices, and deadlines; mitigate contractual risks.
  • Manage contract correspondence, records, claims, variations, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide guidance on rights, responsibilities, processes, and escalation requirements to project teams.
  • Coordinate with engineering and stakeholders on contract-related matters; assist with reporting and cost tracking.
