Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Mining Construction Safety Manager to oversee onsite safety for a large EPCM mining project across the United States. This position requires 10+ years of hands-on safety management experience, preferably in both open pit and underground settings.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams and contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and possess MSHA certification.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant hands-on safety management experience in active mining settings.
• Experience with both open pit and underground mine development projects.
• Commitment to safety with required MSHA certification.
