Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking a Level 3 Milling/Final Assembly specialist for the Rock Island, IL facility. You will mill, assemble, test, and calibrate components to meet precise tolerances and quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, perform quality checks with calipers and micrometers, and set up machines and tooling. Safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Competence with measuring equipment and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a manual milling machine to perform milling operations per specs.
• Assemble, test, and calibrate fabricated parts; inspect tolerances.
• Verify features using calipers, micrometers, and CMM; ensure conformance to drawings.
• Engrave, label, and package product per customer requirements.
• Maintain safety policies and participate in continuous improvement.
