Dover Precision Components is seeking a Level 3 Milling/Final Assembly technician to work onsite in Rock Island, IL. You will be cross-trained in milling and final assembly, assembling, testing, and calibrating parts to meet specifications.

You will perform quality checks, read drawings, and operate milling equipment. The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in milling and final assembly processes.
• Assemble, test, and calibrate fabricated parts to meet tolerances.
• Operate manual milling to perform milling operations.
• Perform final inspection of parts for quality against specs.
• Read manufacturing drawings and perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Complete ERP transactions and label engravings as required.
