Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Rock Island, IL is seeking a Level 3 Milling/Final Assembly technician. You will mill, assemble, test, and calibrate fabricated parts to meet tolerances and product specifications, using hand and power tools and reading drawings.

Responsibilities include setup of the manual mill, performing milled features, executing quality checks with calipers and micrometers, labeling and engraving, and coordinating with other departments to correct defects.

Qualifications

• Prefer a high school diploma or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and use calipers/micrometers for quality checks.
• Operate milling equipment and perform final assembly and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Operate a manual mill to perform milling operations.
• Assemble units and calibrate to tolerances.
• Read drawings and perform quality checks with calipers and micrometers.
• Engage in daily preventative maintenance.
