Job summary

Inpro/Seal LLC in Rock Island, IL seeks a versatile assembler/machine operator to cross-train in lean functions, milling and final assembly. You will assemble, test, calibrate parts to tolerances and product specs using hand and power tools, and perform final inspection.

You will read manufacturing drawings, verify features with calipers, micrometers, and CMM, and set up mills for milling operations on bronze, stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Experience using calipers and micrometers for QA checks.
• Basic computer skills for ERP and labeling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and participate in a Zero Harm culture.
• Meet production schedules and maintain quality through checks.
• Read drawings, select tools, set up machines, and mill features.
• Operate manual mill and install components per specs.
• Perform inspections with calipers/micrometers/CMM and document results.
• Print labels, engrave parts, and complete required paperwork.
