Job summary

Revlon in Oxford, North Carolina seeks a Quality Control Technician (Microbiology), 1st shift, onsite. You will perform microbiological testing, sample materials, prepare media, and operate lab instruments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strict attention to GMP, accuracy in data entry (SAP), and the ability to train new staff. Onsite teamwork and flexibility for shifts and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree in a science, technical, or related discipline preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with microbiological testing and environmental sampling is required.
• Ability to perform testing and record results in SAP and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Microbiological testing of raw materials, bulk product, finished product and purchased products.
• Sample materials per procedures and Revlon specifications.
• Prepare media and test methods according to procedures.
• Operate instruments such as pH meters, balances, incubators, flow hoods and Autoclave.
• Enter test results and final disposition in SAP.
• Provide training support for new employees and back-up to Microbiologist.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and safety requirements.
