Job summary

Revlon is seeking a QC Technician for an onsite role at the Oxford, NC facility. The position focuses on sampling, inspecting, testing, and final disposition of raw materials and finished goods in accordance with Revlon specifications.

You will perform organoleptic and physical tests, use instruments like Karl Fischer, pH meters, and IR, and enter results in SAP. Training new employees and adhering to GMP/GLP are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have good math and organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Aptitude for color and organoleptic evaluation.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Organoleptic evaluation, shade evaluation and physical testing, chemical testing of raw materials, in accordance with department procedures and Revlon specifications.
• Sample raw materials in accordance with procedures and Revlon specifications.
• Use, care, calibration of instruments and test equipment to include but not limited to Karl Fischer, pH meter and IR.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Generate approval/reject tags for raw materials.
• Enters evaluation, test results and final disposition in SAP for raw materials.
• Interface with Bulk Planning/Manufacturing/Receiving to coordinate the sampling, testing and dispositioning of raw materials.
• Works independently with little supervision.
• Follows Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
