Job summary

Solomon Page represents a personal care manufacturer seeking a Quality Control Technician for their Oxford, NC facility. This onsite, full-time role operates on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with flexibility for weekend schedules based on business needs.

Responsibilities include sampling, inspecting, testing and final disposition of components and finished goods, using statistical sampling and organoleptic evaluation.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in quality control.
• Must have good math and organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Aptitude for color and organoleptic evaluation.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• Science/technical degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for degree.

Job description

Our client, a personal care manufacturing company, is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their team! This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Oxford, NC office.This position is for 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM and is required to be adaptable to working different shifts and Saturday/Sunday based on business demands and PTO schedules.

• Full-Time role
• Pay: $45k-$55K

Responsibility

This position is responsible for sampling, inspecting, testing and final disposition of components and finished goods in accordance with department procedures and Revlon specifications. Use statistical sampling plans, measurement tests and developed organoleptic skills in evaluation of products. Assists with training new employees. The QC Department supports an active manufacturing facility. Materials are evaluated and inspected in the QC Laboratory and in Manufacturing. Sampling is performed in other areas within the facility.
