Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company is looking for an MEP Cost Engineer to join their Cost Management department. This role involves analyzing project documents, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining job cost reports.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of construction estimating experience and will work fully onsite in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Salary range is between $90,000 and $120,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years construction estimating experience required.
• Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects preferred.
• LEED Accredited Professional preferred or ability to become accredited within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain job cost reports.
• Track costs by bid package and specific categories of change.
• Monthly reconciliation of project cost reports.

Skills

Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365

Experience with project management software

Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)

Excellent time-management skills

Strong team player

Education

Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent experience

High School diploma or GED
