Job summary

Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team seeks an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) at a Virginia site. You will work with the WHS Site Manager and specialists, greet new hires, attend safety committee meetings, and participate in case management reviews as needed.

Responsibilities include first aid, referrals, injury prevention coaching, and maintaining records. You will manage workers’ compensation, prepare daily logs, and support training for first aid, CPR, and AED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid BLS certification; EMT/Paramedic Certification or Athletic Trainer Certification required.
• Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training (AHA/ARC).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Military experience in a Combat Medic role within the last year (6 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to medical providers.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness and coaching.
• Maintain all care records.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on at-risk habits.
• Maintain medical supplies and environment.
• Assist with first aid/CPR/AED training certifications.
• Maintain credentialing (first aid, CPR, AED).
• Work flexible shifts including days/nights/holidays/weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response at the site.
