Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team at a York, PA site. You will provide first aid, advise associates on injuries, coordinate care with outside providers, and help maintain a safe work environment.

In this role you’ll manage records, workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs, deliver daily logs, and collaborate with site leadership to coach safe practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current EMT or Paramedic certification.
• Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or state).
• Willingness to obtain first aid, CPR, and AED credentials if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on the operations floor to coach safe work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and medical supply inventory.
• Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR and AED classes.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on site.
