Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on delivering first aid, guiding associates on injuries, and supporting safety operations on the floor.

You will coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, maintain records, and participate in safety trainings while working flexible shifts at a busy delivery site. A strong medical certification background is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BLS certification required.
• EMT or Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification per listed qualifications.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to Amazon Associates.
• Coordinate Workers' Compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on safety on the floor.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Participate in first aid/CPR/AED training and certification.
• Maintain credentials for first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Provide emergency care and assist with site emergency response.
