Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join their Workplace Health & Safety team at a site in East Point, GA. The OMR will provide on-site medical care, participate in safety meetings, and support injury prevention and wellness initiatives for Amazon Associates.

Responsibilities include administering first aid, managing care records, coordinating workers’ comp, and delivering CPR/AED training.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic certification from DoH or NREMT OR Athletic Trainer certification.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
• Demonstrated OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation experience.
• Military medical experience (Combat Medic/Field Medic/Hospital Corpsman) within last year may be relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and referrals to outside providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports.
• Coach associates and leadership on safe work practices.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean workspace.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED training sessions.
