Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team at Sparrows Point, MD. The role focuses on providing first aid, injury guidance, and on-site medical support to Amazon Associates while coordinating with safety leaders and external providers.

You will maintain records, contribute to safety programs, and participate in trainings. Flexibility to cover varying shifts and support during emergencies is required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification preferred.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside providers.
• Minimize injury risk through education and engagement.
• Maintain care records for Associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage leadership on floor for safety coaching.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR and AED trainings.
• Maintain credentials for first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days/nights/weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on site.
