Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to support the Workplace Health & Safety team at a California site. You will assess and treat injuries, provide first aid, coordinate care with external providers, and maintain accurate medical records.

The role emphasizes safety coaching, compliance with OSHA regulations, and collaboration with site leadership to minimize risk and protect Associates. You will work on-site with flexible shifts and participate in recurring training for CPR/AED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification and one of EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certifications.
• CPR, first aid training certification acceptable from AHA or ARC.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and recordkeeping systems.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to employees.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach employees on safe work habits and risk reduction on the shop floor.
• Keep medical supplies stocked and maintain a clean environment.
• Support training for first aid, CPR and AED certification.
• Maintain credentials for first aid, CPR and AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols as required.
• Deliver effective emergency care and assist with on-site response.
