Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in Staten Island, NY. You will assess and administer first aid, refer to external providers when needed, and support daily safety operations on site.

You will participate in training, maintain credentials (BLS, EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer), and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends as required by the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from an approved ECC provider.
• EMT or Paramedic certification availability.
• Active Athletic Trainer certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
• Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for on-site injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach on observed at-risk work habits to operations leadership.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean work environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR and AED training certifications.

Education

High school or equivalent diploma

Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification

Active Athletic Trainer Certification
