AMN Healthcare Language Services is seeking InPerson Interpreters to provide on-site interpreting across medical facilities in Englewood, FL. The freelance role offers flexible scheduling, access to multiple sessions per day via the AMN IPI App, and the opportunity to expand your interpreting business.

Qualified candidates will be fluent in English and another language (e.g., Swahili) and will have HIPAA training and accredited interpreting credentials.

Qualifications

• Fluent verbal communication in English and Swahili (or other languages as applicable).
• HIPAA Training completed within last year or current certification.
• Proof of language proficiency via medical language assessments.
• Completed accredited medical interpreting training (e.g., ALTA, MITS, Bridging the Gap).

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site interpreting services in medical settings.
• Maintain professional appearance, punctuality, and preparedness for shifts.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and changes in scheduling.
• Complete screenings before taking commitments and follow ethical standards.
• Support LEP clients with culturally competent interpretation and confidentiality.
