AMN Healthcare Language Services is seeking InPerson Interpreters to provide on-site interpreting across medical facilities in Englewood, FL. Qualified candidates will be fluent in English and another language (e.g., Swahili) and will have HIPAA training and accredited interpreting credentials.

Qualifications

• Fluent verbal communication in English and Swahili (or other languages as applicable).
• HIPAA Training completed within last year or current certification.
• Proof of language proficiency via medical language assessments.
• Completed accredited medical interpreting training (e.g., ALTA, MITS, Bridging the Gap).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site interpreting services in medical settings.
• Maintain professional appearance, punctuality, and preparedness for shifts.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and changes in scheduling.
• Complete screenings before taking commitments and follow ethical standards.
• Support LEP clients with culturally competent interpretation and confidentiality.
