Job summary

Stryker in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a field installation technician to install and test surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems on-site across facilities nationwide. You will work with sales, project engineering, field service and contractors, manage logistics, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Role requires up to 100% overnight travel, with travel and lodging paid per company policy.

Qualifications

0–2 years related technical experience in telecom, video/audio system installation, electrical/construction, medical device, hospital biomed.
High school diploma or GED required.
Hourly wage range: $28.01 - $38.75 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

Confirms site readiness of pre-installation requirements and infrastructure and performs detailed product inventory.
Installations of surgical light suspension systems, booms, video integration systems and associated cabling to deliver video signals and ancillary equipment.
Programs, tests, and inspects all video integration sources per design specifications and quality standards.
Performs functional and quality checks of installable equipment and documents prior to project sign-off.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses failures; performs repairs per quality guidelines; tests equipment for proper operation.
