Job summary

PATHS, LLC is seeking a Medical Biller on site in New Jersey to support billing operations. You will export/import claims, pursue denials, and help ensure timely revenue recovery with HIPAA compliance across provider clients.

The role requires at least 6 months of medical billing experience, EMR system proficiency, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and UB-04 forms. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of medical billing experience.
• Experience working with an EMR system required.
• Navinet, PEAR, Availity and/or EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exporting, importing and submitting claims from one system to another system.
• Medical Billing collections and follow up.
• Resolving insurance denials and underpayments.
• Review of medical claims.
• Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution.
• Documentation and data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
