Job summary

PATHS, LLC is seeking a Medical Biller to work on site in New Jersey. The role supports patient access and revenue recovery by submitting and tracking claims, addressing denials, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The position requires strong communication and meticulous data entry, with duties across multiple payer systems and EMR platforms. The successful candidate will have at least 6 months of medical billing experience, familiarity with CPT/ICD-10/UB-04, and be comfortable using Outlook, Word

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of medical billing experience.
• Experience with an EMR system required.
• Navinet, PEAR, Availity and/or EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Export, import, and submit claims between systems.
• Medical billing collections and follow up.
• Resolve insurance denials and underpayments.
• Review medical claims for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve issues preventing claim resolution.
• Documentation and data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
