Job summary

PATHS, LLC is seeking a Medical Biller to work on site in New Jersey. The role supports PATHS provider clients by securing accurate billing and timely revenue recovery, while ensuring HIPAA compliance across states.

Key duties include exporting and submitting claims between systems, following up on billing, resolving denials and underpayments, reviewing claims, and documenting data. Strong knowledge of Medicaid, CPT/ICD-10, and EMR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of medical billing experience.
• Experience working with an EMR system required.
• Navinet, PEAR, Availity and/or EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exporting, importing and submitting claims from one system to another system.
• Medical Billing collections and follow up.
• Resolving insurance denials and underpayments.
• Review of medical claims.
• Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution.
• Documentation and data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
