Job summary

PATHS, LLC is seeking a Medical Biller on site to support patient billing, secure accurate claims, and resolve denials while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The role handles export/import of claims between systems, reviews claims for accuracy, follows up on payments, and collaborates with the Billing Manager to meet revenue goals. Requires at least 6 months medical billing experience and familiarity with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of medical billing experience.
• Experience working with an EMR system required.
• Navinet, PEAR, Availity and/or EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exporting, importing and submitting claims from one system to another system.
• Medical Billing collections and follow up.
• Resolving insurance denials and underpayments.
• Review of medical claims.
• Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution.
• Documentation and data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
