Job summary

PATHS, LLC is seeking a Medical Biller to be on-site in our Billing Department. The role requires supporting patients and providers by submitting and reconciling claims and resolving billing issues to assist revenue recovery, while ensuring HIPAA compliance across multiple states.

The team works under the Billing Manager with a focus on accurate documentation and timely processing; familiarity with Medicaid, CPT/ICD-10/UB-04, and Microsoft Office is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of medical billing experience.
• Experience working with an EMR system required.
• Navinet, PEAR, Availity and/or EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exporting, importing and submitting claims from one system to another system.
• Medical Billing collections and follow up.
• Resolving insurance denials and underpayments.
• Review of medical claims.
• Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution.
• Documentation and data entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
