Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and non-clinical patient services under healthcare providers. You will take vital signs, document histories, schedule and manage patient flow, and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient care.

In addition to excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with electronic health record systems and medical office software is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with preference for CMA certification.
• Experience in medical field or direct MA experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vitals.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Record medical histories and test results in electronic records.
• Perform general office duties and liaise with other departments for patient support.
• Collect blood and other specimens for testing and documentation.
