Indiana University Health in Lafayette, Indiana, is seeking a certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a full-time, onsite Gastroenterology position. Schedule is Monday–Friday, roughly 7:45 AM–4:45 PM, with no weekends or holidays, and roles include rooming patients, scheduling, and front-office support.

The ideal candidate will have CMA certification, 2+ years of MA experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Teams and multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years MA experience.
• Strong computer skills and multi-system use.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Communication via virtual platforms (Teams).

Responsibilities

• Room patients and perform clinical MA duties.
• Assist with surgical and procedural scheduling.
• Cross-train on scheduling workflows.
• Support clinic operations as needed.
• Communicate with onsite and remote team via Teams.
