Job summary

IU Health in Indiana is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to room patients and perform clinical MA duties in a gastroenterology clinic. The role includes assisting with surgical and procedural scheduling, cross-training on scheduling workflows, and supporting clinic operations as needed.

This position is fully onsite with a standard 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate holds CMA/RMA/CCMA certification with 2+ years of MA experience, excellent communication skills, and comfort using multiple

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Strong computer skills and comfort working within multiple systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate through virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

• Room patients and perform clinical MA duties.
• Assist with surgical and procedural scheduling.
• Cross-train on scheduling workflows and processes.
• Support clinic operations as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with both onsite and remote team members using Microsoft Teams and other virtual communication tools.
