Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree in chemistry, biology or related discipline with lab experience.
• High school diploma with relevant lab experience also acceptable.
• Experience using balances, pH meters and transfer devices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and document shelf life of media mixes and plan reoccurring prep schedules.
• Follow SOPs and guidelines for reagent and buffer preparation.
• Perform quality control testing to ensure proper formulation and no contamination.
• Maintain lab supplies and manage stock solution inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues across functions to solve technical issues.
• Provide on-call support for specific research units when required.
