Job summary

247Hire is seeking a lab technician to support the Media Prep and Lab Services department within R&D. You will prepare microbiological and cell culture media, buffers, and equipment, while ensuring adherence to SOPs and cGMPs.

You will manage glassware and supplies, maintain inventory, and communicate progress to supervisors. Responsibilities include operating autoclaves and benchtop instruments, coordinating with customers, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in life sciences or equivalent with 3 years' experience.
• Ability to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with media prep and glassware operations.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce microbiological media, cell culture media, solutions, buffers, glassware and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels using FIFO and update labware deliveries daily.
• Operate autoclaves, washers, ovens, tanks and benchtop instruments.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMPs and safety guidelines.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and lab staff; communicate clearly.
