Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Sparks, MD is seeking a Microbiological Lab Technician for a 12+ month contract. The role focuses on microbiology testing, media preparation, and working in a GLP/GMP environment.

You will perform routine microbiology procedures, maintain documentation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. 1–2 years biotech experience preferred, with a BS in Microbiology being a plus. The position is first shift, with hourly compensation and a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with large multifunctional teams.
• Experience in microbiology testing of prepared media and media preparation.
• Basic microbiology knowledge for lab setting.
• Good problem solving with independent decisions.
• Familiarity with FDA, GMP / QSR, ISO regulations.
• Experience handling biological or chemical samples and GLP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiology testing in peptone manufacturing, raw materials, and Final DCM testing as required.
• Work in a clean room environment and adhere to safety policies for testing.
• Apply basic scientific principles to routine lab work and gain experience with procedures.
• Ensure documentation compliance and maintain process records.
• Interpret test results and draw conclusions; collaborate with teams.
