Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC in Holland, MI is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineering Manager to lead the Mechanical Engineering department onsite. You will supervise engineers, allocate staffing, and drive project success across cost, quality, and timing.

You will collaborate with Applications Engineering, design and develop mechanical equipment, and push continuous improvement to elevate technical capability. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years leading technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Mechanical Engineering department.
• Provide direct supervision and performance management for mechanical engineers and support personnel.
• Manage staffing and workload allocation to meet project demands, budgets, and schedules.
• Support successful execution of programs by achieving cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering during conception, proposal, and design phases to develop customer solutions.
• Design and develop mechanical equipment and systems meeting customer requirements.
