Hargrove is seeking a Mechanical Lead to support the Unit 1 Modernization at Burton Dam—a multi-discipline infrastructure and systems upgrade that sets the foundation for future units. The candidate will oversee field coordination and contractor management onsite to ensure safety, quality, and documentation compliance.

You will lead turbine and generator replacements, I&C upgrades, BOP improvements, and civil infrastructure work while tracking daily progress in project systems such as Unifier

Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management or project-related experience.
• Education includes a Bachelor or Master in Construction Science, Building Science or related field; a General Contractors license is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support field coordination and contract administration for assigned project scope.
• Oversight of contractor activities and adherence to site safety procedures (BBS, SWA, SST).
• Participate in quality surveillance and ensure site quality protocols are implemented.
• Log daily progress and contractor interactions using Unifier and CAMP.
• Attend and contribute to required project meetings.
• Monitor construction activities against drawings, specs, and conditions.
• Oversee turbine and generator replacement.
• Lead replacement of all I&C systems using Hydro Generation model.
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical BOP upgrades.
• Manage civil infrastructure improvements including head gates and spillway components.
