Job summary

MacKay is seeking a Mechanical Field Engineer for a large-scale industrial construction project in Portland, Oregon. The successful candidate will oversee on-site execution of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and utilities for the WAL6 project.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role also provides a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical field engineering, construction, or industrial project execution.
• Practical experience with piping, HVAC, plumbing, and/or utility systems on large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Owner in overseeing mechanical works on site.
• Support on-site execution of mechanical systems.
• Coordinate daily activities with contractors and subcontractors.
