  • Coordinate daily activities with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, construction management, QA/QC, HSE, engineering, and commissioning teams.
  • Review and interpret IFC drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, HVAC and plumbing drawings, equipment layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Verify that field installations align with design documentation and identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
  • Assist in resolving RFIs, technical queries, design conflicts, constructability issues, and field changes.
  • Identify and elevate technical, quality, safety, or schedule risks to the Mechanical or Construction Manager.
  • Monitor construction progress and report delays, deviations, or potential project impacts.
  • Participate in coordination meetings, technical reviews, and site walkdowns with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct field inspections and quality checks across mechanical installations and system interfaces.
  • Support testing, flushing, cleaning, leak testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and final system turnover.
  • Track and verify closure of punch list items and support project close‑out activities.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE requirements, including permits to work, hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, pressure testing safety, and LOTO procedures.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with all stakeholders and ensure timely documentation and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of installation practices, construction sequencing, QA/QC processes, and project turnover.
  • Familiarity with U.S. construction practices and relevant mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and piping codes.
  • Experience managing RFIs, punch lists, inspections, progress reporting, and contractor coordination.
  • Strong technical knowledge of piping systems, supports, valves, pumps, HVAC equipment, ductwork, plumbing systems, and utilities.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on the client or owner side of construction projects.
  • Exposure to international contractors and subcontractors.
  • Background in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, energy, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, or heavy construction.
  • Knowledge of relevant U.S. codes and standards (ASME, SMACNA, IPC/UPC, IMC, NFPA, OSHA).
  • Experience with testing, commissioning, and system turnover processes.
  • Familiarity with BIM and construction management tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, Procore, Aconex, or Bluebeam.
