Job summary

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and blueprints.
• Proficiency with estimating software and cost databases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine mechanical requirements.
• Estimate cost of materials, labor, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit detailed project bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain cost databases to reflect current market prices.
• Evaluate profitability and provide recommendations.
• Identify cost-saving measures to increase profitability.
• Ensure estimates comply with mechanical codes and standards.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
• Monitor and report on project progress and cost performance.
