Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems, seeks a Mechanical Engineer for an onsite role in York, PA, with the option to base in Hattiesburg, MS. You will be the subject matter expert providing field commercial and technical support for Custom Air Handling Units, coordinating with sales, engineering and manufacturing.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, 1–4 years of design experience (AutoCAD or Inventor), and is prepared to travel or relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–4 years of experience; recent grads considered.
• Design experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial, competitive and technical application support to field sales on AHU projects.
• Coordinate with field team to resolve order issues and support testing of AHU selection software.
• Develop technical documents to support field sales on air handling applications.
• Work with marketing to develop software requirements for selection and pricing.
• Assist engineering to develop cost-effective resolutions for Air Handling Units and systems.
