Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer based in York, PA, or Hattiesburg, MS, onsite with relocation options.

You will serve as the subject matter expert for AHU applications, providing technical and commercial support to the field sales team and partnering with engineering to resolve complex air handling challenges. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 1–4 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience; we are also considering candidates with minimal professional experience that are recent graduates.
• Design experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial, competitive and technical application support to the field sales organization on AHU projects.
• Work with a small team to deliver resolutions to field requests for AHU project support with basis of design.
• Assist with development of cost effective resolutions to unique AHU applications.
• Coordinate release of documentation to support Custom Air Handling products.
• Support testing of AHU selection and pricing software.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure feasible and efficient solutions for air handling systems.
