Johnson Controls seeks a York Custom Air Handling Unit Project Engineer to lead a team of engineers in delivering field commercial and technical support for Custom AHU projects. You will guide design, bidding, and release processes to ensure profitable outcomes while maintaining high technical standards and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (ABET accredited) and 10+ years in HVAC design, with strong skills in AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or related science.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HVAC design or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4–12 Project Engineers to deliver field commercial and technical support.
• Provide competitive and technical application support to the field sales organization.
• Review project specifications, schedules and drawings to ensure design intent and profitability.
• Develop customized AHU configurations and ensure functional design and layout.
• Lead customer visits and support sales presentations with engineers and customers.
