Job summary

The Mosaic Company Pekin Terminal in Pekin, IL is seeking an Operating Mechanic D to support unloading/loading across rail, barge, and truck operations. The role includes basic maintenance, adherence to EHS policies, and ongoing training to advance through SOPs and related positions.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in an industrial setting, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Safety, teamwork, and reliable work habits are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years’ industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math and reading/writing English.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load rail, barge, trucks and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance; wear PPE and report hazards.
• Train and progress in SOPs and multiple operations positions.
• Demonstrate competency in maintenance procedures, including preventive tasks.
