Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Materials Management Advisor to establish systematic material planning and coordination following OMS and MM processes. You will work with Line stakeholders to compile material demand and coordinate delivery with procurement and MM teams to meet business needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and strong experience with ERP systems, data analysis, and inventory management in energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or other relevant technical discipline.
• MM related process and systems knowledge
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a matrix organization
• Strong commercial skills and economics-based decision making
• Understanding of equipment and materials used in energy sector
• Knowledge of statistical analysis or inventory modelling
• Field experience in inventory control, warehouse, or inbound logistics in oil and gas or related industries

Responsibilities

• Capture material demand with operating functions and coordinate material supply with procurement and MM teams.
• Apply demand planning and coordination tools to support scheduling processes.
• Identify and prioritize risk mitigation for material demand planning and coordination.
• Manage MM service providers’ performance per agreed scope of service.
• Develop and monitor annual team performance and resource plans.
• Identify excess and surplus inventory and take action.
• Provide strategic direction and empower team members to execute plans.
• Conform to demand planning and coordination requirements.
• Develop resource plans ensuring enablers are available to deliver strategy.
• Support continuous improvement of supply chain performance.
• Participate in the Material Coordination Discipline network.
• Drive process and data standards in line with guidance.
