Materials Management Advisor – Material Coordination
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Position Summary:
Responsible for material demand planning and coordination, ensuring timely availability of materials to support business and operational requirements. Partner with stakeholders, Procurement, and Materials Management teams to optimize supply, manage risks, and improve supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material demand across operating functions and sites.
- Partner with Procurement and Materials Management teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Manage demand planning, scheduling, and material coordination processes.
- Identify, prioritize, and communicate material supply risks and mitigation plans.
- Monitor MM service provider performance against agreed SLAs.
- Support excess/surplus inventory identification and inventory optimization.
- Develop resource and performance plans aligned with business priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and data quality.
- Ensure compliance with Materials Management processes, systems, and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across a functional matrix organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
- Experience with Materials Management processes and ERP/reporting systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Preferred:
- Supply chain/inventory experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or similar industries.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, statistical analysis, or inventory modeling.
- Understanding of equipment and materials used in the energy sector.
- Strong commercial and analytical decision-making skills.
