Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is hiring a Materials Handler at our West Nyack, NY location. This onsite role is full time (40 hours/week), Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-4:00 pm EST. Responsibilities include inventory management, receiving, stocking, and equipment care across multiple sites.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, NY driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided and you must maintain HIPAA compliance while supporting a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid New York driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in receiving, distribution and computer use for record keeping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to provide coverage to 5 other locations in the market as needed.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week), 8-hour shifts 8:00 am - 4:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Supply management including inventory levels, ordering, receiving, unloading, delivering and stocking of supplies; equipment maintenance in back hallways, storage areas and patient care areas.
• Promote a positive, productive work environment and conduct oneself professionally toward coworkers, physicians and patients.
• Interact with others effectively, negotiating, instructing, supervising, persuading and responding to feedback.
• Follow and perform duties in alignment with Core Values.
• Integrate Lean principles to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
• Follow written and oral instructions and complete routine tasks independently.
• Complete annual compliance training on HIPAA/Privacy/Confidentiality/Non-Discrimination/Harassment/Integrity.
