Job summary

Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking an Inventory Clerk to receive, store, and distribute medical supplies across units. You will maintain accurate records and help ensure stock levels meet department needs. This is a full-time role in a fast-paced hospital supply chain.

The position requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate lifting equipment as needed. Prior warehouse experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior related experience is preferred.
• Driver's License is preferred.
• Ability to understand basic mathematics and inventory flow.
• Effective communication and instruction-following abilities.

Responsibilities

• Receives product, equipment and supplies and checks quantities.
• Fills requisitions from departments and tracks stock issued.
• Unpacks and stores supplies on shelves.
• Transports articles up to 50lbs and operates lifting equipment.
• Delivers exchange carts to med/surgical units.
• Compiles weekly/monthly inventories and maintains records.
• Maintains a clean, orderly Material Management area.
• Accesses medication delivery areas as authorized.
• Performs related duties as required.
